Heaven

I did a different kind of writing blitz. They were given 10 minutes and a 6 sentence minimum. They had to answer the question, "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?" Their paragraph had to have a topic sentence and all the other sentences had to support. Most of the kids picked France because that's what they're learning in Makabayan. One child wrote this:

I want to go to Heaven. I want to go to Heaven because it is very precious. I want to go there because it is made out of gold. I would love to go there because I could live there forever. I want to go there because there are no bad people. I want to go there because God lives there.

"And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, 'Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He shall dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them...' And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine upon it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb... and nothing unclean and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life." Revelation 21:3, 22, 27

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
